On our way back from Davenport today we drove through Kalona, IA. There are a number of Amish farms around Kalona as well as an antique store called "Sisters' Garden."

Some Amish use propane-powered motorized vehicles with metal wheels. I'm not sure about propane, but apparently they avoid rubber tires because they make life too comfortable.
